Just an update here. Force of Arms art is coming along very well. We are on track for a release this summer. Also, initial design has started on a game based on the Armies of the Southern Cross and another game that will deal with the Invid Invasion. Our Friday night development session this past week was very productive and we will post here as things develop.

Just an update.

As of today we have sent all the line art for the game for Harmony approval.

While we have been working on the game we have designed the expansion for Force of Arms and started some early work on that art.

That will be called
ROBOTECH: Force of Arms - Grand Canon Expansion

Then we are working on a game like FoA but more complex and taking game to the next level (1v1 2p game).

Working Title:  ROBOTECH: Crisis Point

The a New Gen game that will be 1-6 player cooperative

Working Title:  ROBOTECH: The Invid Invasion

We have a thread going on the facebook page   http://www.facebook.com/solarflaregames
Doing some fan research for Army of the Southern Cross info.

Thanks

So last night, we got the next Robotech game we are working on to the table. Robotech Crisis Point is a head to head 2 - player card game pitting the forces of the Soutern Cross against the shifty Robotech Masters. It was a blast and feels nearly done as far as game play goes. Art however, has not been started yet. Force of Arms is nearly done with all Art and should be going to the printers in the next 30 days or so. I am so stoked to be able to work on games in this universe and I am looking forward to having people play these games.

An update from the Development Lounge.
Force of Arms is fully developed. Slight tweak coming to 2 cards after some play testing last night, but it will not affect any time lines in place for manufacturing.
Force of Arms: Grand Cannon Expansion: Work continues. Did some serious testing on this last night and made some adjustments. There are more to come to balance some things out.
Crisis Point: This feels done from a game play stand point. The only consistent feedback we are getting from play testers is “When can we play it again?”
Invid Invasion: This is ready to go into initial prototype. At this point, the only real delay is that I want to get more work done on the Grand Cannon expansion before I start the testing on this.

I would like to thank Generation X Comics and Games in Bedford, Tx for letting me use their tables for play testing last night.

Force of Arms - Art is approved- production slot secured. We expect the game to be in stores by July 2018 - make sure you tell your game store to tell their distributor you want SKU SRF-0600 when it is available Jun/Jul.

Hi everyone! Solar Flare games would like to ask a little favor of you to help us get Robotech:Force of Arms into wider distribution. Go to https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/235653/robotech-force-arms and add it to your wish list. Do this by clicking on Add to Collection at the top and checking on Wish List. If you aren’t a member of Board Game Geek, please sign up and add it to your wish list. This will help us get the game out to more comic book and game stores. Thank you all for all the help and support you have provided us so far. We are on target for this to be in distribution by July. If you are in the DFW area, we are going to be out at Common Ground Games and Gen X Comics and Games on Table Top day, April 28th, and at Madness Games and Comics on Free Comic Book Day, May 5th. Lastly, if you are interested in asking questions about or playtesting Robotech: Crisis Point, set during the Masters War Era, I generally do development sessions on Thursday afternoons at Generation X Comics and Games, in Bedford, Texas, from 5 to 7 PM.

So BGG Spring has come and gone and we had about 50 different people come by the table and play Force of Arms. It was well received and we finished in the top 10 on the Geek Buzz. All and all a successful con. No on to Origins. Hope to see you folks there. Remember the game is up for pre-order at Robotech.com!
