A protoplasmic alien race that consumes the Flower of Life. as its primary food source. The Invid have migrated through space and warred with both the Robotech Masters and the human race for control of the Flower of Life and the select worlds on which it blooms.
They are capable of evolving, through the power of their queen-mother, the Regess, into more sophisticated forms, such as the humanoids that can pass for being human.
