Found the DVD on clearance at the Zellers here in Canada for $5.99, I bought it based on some fans who swear by this show so I thought I finally give this show a chance to watch. I was about to be surprised and be hooked on a marathon that upset my wife to no end. But it was worth it. wink

Back in the day, I would’ve never gave it the light of day. But now I do regret not watching this show back then. This show is not only good, but it’s the kind of show that had me remind myself of why I got into animated cartoons that had a serious story behind them. Similar to Robotech, exosquad has storylines that is able to discuss the seriousness of politics, religion and war.

I’ve only seen season one, but now i’m anxious to see more of season two. It’s too bad they havent’ released season two on DVD yet. I’m craving more from the Exosquad now that I’ve seen this show.
Anyone had a similar experience when watching this series the first time they saw it.

BTW, well worth the $5.99 I purchase it for. smile

I have lost all hope of any more DVD releases, but the whole thing is on Hulu.  I don’t know if you can use Hulu in Canada, but its the only place I am aware you can see the whole series.

Or from what I have read, Exosquad eventually resulted in FASA losing the rights to what are now known as the Unseen in BattleTech.

Having never watched Exosquad, I will reserve judgment on the show itself.  However, I am a huge fan of the Unseen, and so my opinion probably should be something like this: >:o

I remember watching this show as a kid and being fascinated on how “adult themed” the writing was. Much like Robotech characters would be killed and they didn’t sugar coat it. Granted the main story arc was finished but it’s a shame the show was cancelled beofre the next arc could begin.

...I contacted the show’s creator/executive producer.  He said that it was one of his favorite projects, and would love to do more with it; however, Universal holds the rights, and they’re just sitting on it.

The robot technique is nominated for the struggle for the opponents. The stage of the robot and the best essays reviews are envisaged for the struggle for the workers. The part is played for the task management for the anticipation for the themes.

I loved Exosquad ... it was a great little gem. Got the first season on DVD, but sadly, the second season never came out.

I hope and pray that they bring out a complete series box set.

I even got the old Sega Genesis game ... nothing to write home about, but for its time, it was a cool way to kill a few hours.

Too bad, the series will never get an updated remake, like they did with Star Blazers.
