Probably Dana’s Story.  There’s a bunch of dialogue by The Robotech Masters that comes out really bad.  Not only does it not really make sense but it also fails to cement The Robotech Masters to the protoculture matrix and the Zents.  They should have used the opportunity to make more sense out of the Robotech backstory but instead they squandered it.

  Id hafta go with the first episode (not sure of the title, maybee boobytrap??) . Id re-write it to where Rick got in trouble for shaking up that demonstrations teams formation.

I would rewrite the last episode “To the Stars” so you could see the SDF-2. Also “Farewell Big Brother” so we could see a funeral for Roy.

What’s up with me mis-reading subjects lately?  I thought this was “re-write a Robotech episode.”  My bad.

I would rewrite that horrible episode where khyron imprisons Minmei & Kyle in a cell of giant forks.  That episode is painfully bad.

IT WOULD BE EITHER “FAREWELL BIG BROTHER” (LAME DEATH FOR ROY) OR “TO THE STARS” (TO ERASE THE STUPID SDF2 LINES).

Man, it’s not the forks that get me, it’s the ENTIRE episode.  The episode is Broken Heart and I advise everyone to watch it again with a critical eye.  It is just an incredibly funky waste of an episode.

But we were asked so heres my reply.
In ‘Dana’s story’ Leonards eulogy would be changed.
Then in ‘Birthday Blues.’ Annie would make a referance to her biological parents and we’d see stock footage of Sammie Porter. :D :p

I wouldnt rewrite episodes, I’d rewrite songs! Minmei needed alot more songs! >:o >:o

I would rewrite “To The Stars”. I would add many things to clear up latter issues.

I would add dialogue to tell the audience that….

1. The Robotech Factory Satellite will become Space Station Liberty after the SDF-3/2 leaves.

2. Show the damn SDF-2 on screen blow up so we could just take this old horse out back and put it out of it’s misery once and for all!!!

3. Gloval reveals that Carpenter’s Tokugawa class ship has already launched. This way it makes sense when Carpenter and his officer talk about having been in space for “the last 15 yrs” or rewrite the Masters episode “The Outsiders” to to alter that dialogue so they DON’T say they’ve been in space for 15 yrs. One way or the other, get that fixed so it’s consistant.

4. Maybe do an epilogue at the end that shows them creating the three mounds from the SDF-1 ruins.  Something kind of like at the begining of Invid invasion. A montage of still images with narration that give better closure and set the stage better for Masters.

Then again, if they did all this, “To The Stars” would probably end up being 4 hrs long!!!!

BTW, I agree with Ace. In fact, I would re-write a couple of Masters episodes to make the continuity stronger.

Those are all excellent suggestions Hermann.  A segue into The Masters portion would help so much.

It has the potential to be soooo cool. Go with Hermann2’s suggestions. Show Gloval pushing Lisa out into an escape pod. So much could be done to make this episode more satisfying.

No! Showing Gloval pushing Lisa into the Pod would give too much away! We’d need that moment of anxiety of not knowing how many, if any of the bridge crew survived! :101:

I hate to brag, but if you (and the others) want a funeral for Roy, I feel I did him justice in my Online Manga thats on Darrtallions website.
