Not a fan of the novels.  Too much character assassination and retconning for me.

If it ain’t in the Robotech show itself… It didn’t neccessarily happen.

Thanks, Carl Macek, for introducing me to all these folks.  Even the ones who bug me.

Yeah, I know. I kind of fill the same way - now.

When they first started coming out, I thought that they were good. But as I got older, my opinion of them changed greatly.

I actually read them before seeing anything past Macross….  was very surprised at the difference, and not pleasantly, once I saw the rest.

I’d start with developing a game, and porting Battlecry and Invasion over to next gen consoles.

Hmm…

We could use a new game or two.

I would love to see a new PC game based on the original series….a reboot of Battlecry.  The biggest issue is, Robotech is an obscure property.  There has not been anything mainstream in so long, the coolest of ideas will fail without first broadening the fan base.  IF they get off the ground with the LAM, new animation that ties into the original series (and much better character design than Shadow Chronicles) then things can happen, if not we may just as well be the last of the RT fans.

Obscure might be the best term for describing Robotech at the moment. Dormant would be more accurate.

Man Battlecry was great I loved that game.

Our local shops only had it for the PS2, my only decision for getting it over the Nintendo system….would be great to have something like it for the PC. The animations that can be done with modern processors and video cards could be mind blowing!  But again, nothing can come about until HG gets Robotech back into the public eye without offending us long term, original fans.

Yeah I hear ya.
I got it on the GameCube, the special edition box with the T-Shirt and music CD. I loved that it was cell shaded and I remember really, really enjoying the whole thing.

I’d love to see an HD remastered version of Battlecry.  I never did finish it when I had it for the PS2.

I had Battlecry on the Gamecube as well.  I bought the special edition of the game.  I still have the CD somewhere.  Personally I thought it was a lot of fun, but I wish that it had been a bit more ambitious with some of the space battles.  I think that we could have had a few more large scale space battles at more points in the game.  I also wish that they had tried to take advantage of the ethernet adapter that was available for the Gamecube back then and put some sort of online battle mode in there.  I would have loved to have had someone to play against.

a co op would of been the best!! it had a split screen versus. which was cool and all but got tiring after a bit. a co op especially on the space battles would of been amazing! i think i got stuck on a space battle and never finished the game lol.

i have Invasion and would of loved to have co op or online play for that!
