Got my copy like 2 weeks ago, pretty good, I never knew that other versions of "We will Win" Actually existed. Just wondering what other songs from the original series had alternate or longer versions?
My top 5 I would pay top dollar for would be:
1)The Way to Love (longer version)
2)We will win (Lancer version, longer version)
3) To be in Love (longer version)
4) Look up! The Sky is Falling (Any Alternate versions)
5) Together ( From Sentinels, any alternate versions)
I hope there will be more!

Customer service came through, and I've finally received my set! The calendar is beautiful and I'm enjoying the CD.
I like that the Robotech calendar includes the birthdays of so many people involved in Robotech over the years, including Bill Spangler, Reggie Byers and Jack Alan Goga.
And speaking of Jack Goga, was his music recovered along with the Robotech music? I may be in the minority, but I would seriously love a "Captain Harlock and the Queen of a Thousand Years" soundtrack. (But could you even still call it that? If not, how about "The Harmony Gold Works of Jack Goga"...?) If there's not enough demand to warrant a CD pressing, perhaps an mp3 album that you could buy and download straight from robotech.com...?
It's requests like these that make my constantly asking for a complete Sentinels soundtrack to not be taken seriously, isn't it...  | |

Michael Bradley and Steve Wittmack did a lot of music for The Sentinels that wasn't used in the movie version. When Captain Harlock and the Queen of Thousand Years was being put together they used some of that music... | |

Can you please post small samples of each track so we can hear what they sound like. Kinda silly we can't hear samples of these considering you can hear samples everywhere..like Amazon, iTunes, etc.
I don't want to buy something that isn't much different then what I already own.

Thing is, they said they were going to put this out a while ago.
I'm guessing the April Fools part is this teaser image they posted on Facebook yesterday, making us all think it was either Roy Fokker or Rick Hunter.

I just ordered the "It's You" CD, and shipping was $8.04. However I'm on the opposite side of the country, and I don't know if it's a flat rate or if it changes by zone. | |

I clicked to buy and order screen came up. Is this really the best we can get for Robotech merch these days? I will probably buy it however...Robotech is still in my blood. Someday a project will come along that will satisfy my urges like the old shows. Heck I would even settle for prequel crap set in between the wars. | |

It actually took my order, credit card info and all. I'm thrilled they're doing these, the bonus tracks are way more in depth than what we'd get from any soundtrack.
New material is over rated. IMHO, everyone's looking for that rush they had when they first discovered it, so when the new material finally is made they complain that it doesn't make them feel the same way the originals did. That's never going to happen, because (a) it's not new to you any more, and (b) you're not the same person any more. I tend to find that the only thing that satisfies my urges like the old shows does is (a) rewatching the old shows, or (b) discovering something totally different.
But again, that's just my opinion. Your mileage may vary. | |

I couldn't imagine there could be so much material for It's You. I'd be nice if it was something a bit more rockin' than this song but I'll buy it. Again, releasing separate soundtracks for all this is a great idea. Robotech's huge music library is a gold mine they can finally exploit properly after all these years. | |
